CARVED SHOE SOLE (2009):

I felt that there was a trend a few years toward customization that was moving to the sole of the shoe.  With rapid prototyping and other things that make 3D capabilities easier, I want to carve something that supported the principle of "hand crafted", an art that is dwindling.  Obviously more of an art piece and not a something to be worn.

LASER CUT ICONIC SHOE PUZZLES (2011)

Sensing the love of the primary shoe icons in the sneaker culture, I decided to make shoe puzzles through lasercutting.  These puzzles could help build a bond between parent and child of the next culture.... or just be a sweet puzzle on someones desk.  I've made Jordan's, NB's, Adidas, and Air Trainers.
